Nicole Rye-Newman founded Touch Marke Consulting LLC (TMC) in 2014 in response to the growing need for personal connection in the digital world. The mindful and personal attention that drives people and ultimately drives business, is the cornerstone of Touch Marke Consulting, LLC.
For over 3 decades, Nicole has dedicated herself to helping both corporations and non-profits strengthen their relationships with the people they serve while growing their organizations. Her industry experience has been focused on destination marketing organizations (CVB’s), healthcare, and community mission market segments. Nicole’s training in Emotional Intellegence (EQ) combined with her creativity, integrity and compassionate interpersonal skills are the keys to her unique ability to ‘open’ doors and build authentic customer loyalty.
Prior to the creation of TMC, Nicole served as the Director of Business Relations and Capital Campaign Director at The Cleveland City Mission. Laura’s Home is a shelter for homeless and 'at risk' women and children that offers specialized wraparound services designed to empower individuals and bridge crisis to stability and self-sufficiency. Nicole’s campaign leadership aided in making this $11 million project a safe and ‘teaching’ home that serves hundreds of women and their children each year.
Nicole was the Director of Membership and Public Relations of Destination Cleveland, the region’s convention and visitors bureau. Nicole began her tenure at the CVB as a college intern in the travel and tourism department during her senior year of college. She earned four promotions in nine years and had the privilege of advancing Cleveland’s travel and tourism communications strategy, local and regional partnerships and organization-wide strategic planning.
Since 2016, Nicole has served as the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Healthcare Partner Advisor with a passionate group of volunteer families to identify potential areas of opportunity for improvement within Cleveland Clinic Children’s and develop a robust complement of engaged families in collaboration with caregivers. Improving how care is delivered, incorporating kind care, and more fully supporting the needs of the families that are served is top priority.
Nicole graduated from Baldwin-Wallace University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications, in addition to a concentration in Sociology and Business.
